The Sounds of 451

This was my project for English class. We read Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, and had to make a soundtrack to go along with the book. If you haven't read the book it's about 'firemen'. They don't put out fires, instead they burn books. It takes place in a futuristic society where knowledge is forbidden and the government controls almost everything. Citizens rat out their neighbors to gain power. It's a good book although I found it a bit hard to understand.
My cd cover is books on fire with a phoenix coming out of one of the books, to quote the book- "There was a silly bird called a Phoenix back before Christ: every few hundred years he built a pyre and burned himself up. He must have been first cousin to Man. But every time he burnt himself up he sprang out of the ashes, he got himself born all over again. And it looks like we're doing the same thing, over and over, but we've got one thing the Phoenix never had. We know the silly thing we just did. We know all the silly things we've done for a thousand years, and as long as we know that and always have it around where we can see it, some day we'll stop making the funeral pyres and jumping into the middle of them. We pick up a few more people that remember, every generation." And I chose only the best music
